Podplus Ashford Marathon & Half Marathon 2015

New event for 2015.  Country lane course around the villages bordering Ashford.  Well organised race, with very friendly competitors.  This one is sure to return next year.

Dirty Dozen Races 12K & 6K, London South, 18 April 2015

Time for another round of muddy mayhem.  This time the 12K & 6K races took part on the same day, which made for a pretty hectic schedule.  The course was substantially different this time, and some of the changes weren't for the better (IMHO).  Most disappointed by the omission of the obstactle I liked best - the Fire Fly.  The new layout made it difficult to get to various of the obstacles and some I managed not to find at all.  But it was still a fun day, if made troublesome by the harsh glare of the sun.

University of Kent Canterbury 10K 2015

Decent turnout for the inaugural University of Kent 10K.  Quite pleasant weather too, though the constant in-out sun made for difficult snapping conditions.  Nice scenic route along the Crab & Winkle Way seemed popular with the competitors and the event proved to be a great success.

Folkestone 10 Mile Race 2015

As if the grey skies & persistent cold drizzle weren't enough, a mist swept in too, just make conditions a bit more fun ;)  And my back up camera suffered probably fatal shutter issue too.  Aside from that, cracking race :p

Paddock Wood Half Marathon 2015

A day of gusty winds and frequent squally showers.  But the runners took the conditions in good spirit, as ever.
